A charming 9 karat gold navette shape ring with a Jasperware Wedgwood pale blue panel, depicting Artemis or Diana the goddess of wild animals and the hunt. Also known to be the goddess of domestic animals too. This deity is shown with a deer or stag. The ring was made during the early part of the 20th C with the 9 karat gold splayed shoulders and attractive milled edge to the setting. The pale blue Jasperware panel is stamped ‘Wedgwood’ This is a good quality antique ring that is more unusual, in comparison with other Wedgewood rings of similar design.
